Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Lumea ("Lumea", "the app"), a mobile photo-editing application provided by kodmap. By downloading or using Lumea, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Lumea for your own purposes, subject to these Terms and the app store's terms. You may not sublicense, resell, or redistribute the app.

2. Subscriptions & billing

  • Lumea offers an optional Lumea Pro subscription (monthly, 3-month, and annual plans) that unlocks premium features.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region and over time. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refunds are handled by the app store under its policy.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the photos and images you edit in Lumea. You are responsible for the content you process and for having the rights to use it. You grant us only the limited, temporary rights needed to perform an operation you request — in particular, to send an image to our backend and Google's Gemini API when you invoke an AI feature (see the Privacy Policy). We do not claim ownership of your images and do not retain them after processing.

4. AI features — acceptable use

Lumea's AI features process images you provide. You agree that you will not use them to:

  • process images you do not have the right to use, or that infringe another person's intellectual property or privacy;
  • create content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise abusive;
  • impersonate a real person or create misleading content intended to deceive; or
  • attempt to bypass safety filters or misuse the service or our providers (including Google's Gemini API).

AI output may be inaccurate, unexpected, or unsuitable for your purpose. It is provided "as is" for your own review, and you are responsible for how you use the results.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including: reverse-engineering it except where permitted by law; interfering with its operation or security; using it unlawfully; or infringing others' rights.

6. Intellectual property

Lumea, its design, code, content, and trademarks are owned by kodmap or its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights in them beyond the license in Section 1.

7. Disclaimers & no warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app or its AI features will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce any particular result.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, kodmap is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or images arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app or subscription in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using Lumea at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version.

11. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: kodmapdev@gmail.com.
